TMS27C512-15JL General Description

The TMS27C512-15JL is a 512K-bit (64Kx8) UV Erasable, Electrically Programmable Read Only Memory (EPROM) with a maximum access time of 150ns. It is a CMOS technology-based device that requires a single +5V power supply for operation. The TMS27C512-15JL has a programming voltage range of 12V to 14V for programming and a power dissipation of 165mW (typical) during read operation. The device is housed in a 28-pin windowed fused ceramic dual in-line package (DIP) for easy installation and removal of the EPROM from the system circuit.The TMS27C512-15JL offers a programming time of 100µs/byte with a programming cycle endurance of at least 1,000 cycles. It also features a data retention period of at least 20 years. The EPROM is designed to withstand a minimum of 2000V electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, making it suitable for use in industrial and commercial applications that require reliable and non-volatile memory storage
