The ST485BDR is a low-power RS485/RS422 transceiver that operates at data rates up to 20Mbps. It features a wide common-mode voltage range from -7V to +12V, allowing for robust communication in noisy industrial environments. The device is designed to meet ESD protection requirements up to ±15kV according to IEC 61000-4-2, ensuring reliable operation in harsh electrical environments.The ST485BDR includes a fail-safe circuitry that guarantees a high output state in case the input is open or shorted.
