The TOP256PN is a high voltage input, integrated power factor corrected (PFC) power supply controller designed for offline power supplies. It features a wide input voltage range of 85VAC to 265VAC, making it suitable for a variety of applications including LED lighting, consumer electronics, industrial supplies, and more. The device operates in critical conduction mode (CRM) which offers near unity power factor and high efficiency.The TOP256PN integrates a 700V power MOSFET, a PFC controller, a current mode PWM controller, and built-in circuitry for protections such as overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature. It also includes a frequency jittering function for reduced EMI emissions, resulting in compliance with worldwide regulatory standards.In terms of performance, the TOP256PN can deliver up to 53W output power with good efficiency, making it suitable for cost-effective power supplies.
