SN75518FN General Description

The SN75518FN is a dual-phase synchronous buck controller designed for high-performance DC-DC conversion applications. It can operate over a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 26V, making it suitable for a variety of power supply designs.This controller features a wide operating frequency range from 100kHz to 1MHz, allowing for flexible design options based on efficiency or board space requirements. It also includes adjustable soft-start functionality to control the inrush current during start-up, protecting the system components.The SN75518FN offers excellent transient response and load regulation, ensuring stable power delivery to the load under dynamic conditions. It also includes overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown features to protect the system from damage in fault conditions.For ease of use, the SN75518FN includes a precision voltage reference and voltage-mode control loop for accurate regulation. It also offers programmable UVLO and power good features for monitoring the system status.
