UCN5810AF General Description

The UCN5810AF is a high-voltage, high-current, Darlington transistor array integrated circuit (IC) designed for driving stepper motors, dc motors, relays, and other loads requiring high-current drivers. It consists of seven NPN Darlington pairs that can handle continuous load currents of up to 500mA per channel and peak load currents of up to 1.5A per channel. The UCN5810AF also has built-in clamp diodes for inductive load protection.The IC is TTL and CMOS compatible, allowing it to be easily interfaced with microcontrollers and other digital logic circuits. It operates with a supply voltage range of 5V to 30V, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.The UCN5810AF features common cathode clamp diodes for external transient voltage suppression. It also has thermal shutdown protection to prevent the IC from overheating during operation. The IC comes in a 18-pin dual in-line package (DIP) for easy mounting on a PCB.
