The TPS62044DGQ is a highly efficient synchronous step-down dc-dc converter designed for battery powered portable devices. It is optimized for applications that require a single Li-Ion battery cell or multiple NiMH/NiCd batteries. With an output voltage range from 6.0 V down to 0.7 V, this device is perfect for powering low voltage DSPs and processors in a variety of portable electronics such as PDAs, pocket PCs, notebooks, and subnotebook computers. The fixed switching frequency of 1.25 MHz ensures stable performance, and the power save mode operation at light load currents helps maintain high efficiency across a wide range of loads
