STV9306 General Description

The STV9306 is a PowerStep driver, terminal M, capable of driving 4 power MOSFET's configured as bridge. It provides all the functions needed to drive full and half-bridge configurations. The device is manufactured using ST's BCD technology, which combines bipolar and CMOS control to offer high-voltage capability, power-on reset, and supply voltage monitoring on a single chip.The STV9306 features built-in protection functions such as overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, and undervoltage lockout, which ensure the safe operation of the power stage. It also includes a diagnosis function that monitors the state of each of the power MOSFET's, providing feedback on any potential faults.The device is capable of handling supply voltages up to 200V and peak output currents up to 1A. It is designed for use in applications such as industrial drives, HVAC systems, and home appliances where precise control of motor speed and direction is required.
