PS2705-1-A General Description

PS2705-1-A is an optically coupled isolator containing a GaAs infrared emitting diode and a NPN silicon phototransistor. It has a minimum forward current of 5mA and a typical forward voltage of 1.2V. The phototransistor has a maximum collector-emitter voltage of 80V and a maximum collector current of 50mA. The device operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 100°C.The optically coupled isolator is designed for applications requiring high speed response, such as digital logic isolators, line receivers and microprocessor system interfaces. It provides high isolation voltage of 2500Vrms for 1 minute and features a creepage distance of 5mm, making it suitable for use in high voltage environments.PS2705-1-A is housed in a 4-pin DIP package with dimensions of 7.62mm x 6.58mm. It is RoHS compliant and meets UL, CSA and VDE safety standards. With its reliable performance and robust construction, this optically coupled isolator is a versatile solution for various isolation applications in industrial and consumer electronic devices
