LT5560EDD General Description

The LT5560EDD is a high performance mixer, IF amplifier, and RSSI integrated circuit (IC) designed for use in RF applications. It operates over a frequency range of 300MHz to 4GHz and features a low noise figure of 9.5dB, making it ideal for high sensitivity applications. The device has a 130dB power gain control range, allowing for precise signal processing and amplification.The LT5560EDD incorporates an on-chip programmable gain amplifier (PGA) as well as a wideband IF amplifier, enabling flexibility in circuit design and optimization. It also includes a high performance double balanced mixer with integrated local oscillator (LO) balun, simplifying system integration and reducing external component count.In addition, the LT5560EDD features an accurate on-chip RSSI circuitry for precise signal strength indication and monitoring. The device is housed in a compact 16-lead DFN package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
