L6984ATR General Description
The L6984ATR is a high efficiency synchronous step-down converter with integrated MOSFETs. It is designed to deliver up to 4A of continuous output current with an input voltage range of 4.5V to 38V. The device operates at a fixed frequency of 2.2MHz, allowing for a small external inductor and capacitors to achieve a compact solution size.The L6984ATR features a proprietary Constant On-Time (COT) control architecture that provides fast transient response and stable operation across a wide range of load conditions. It also offers a power-saving Pulse Skipping Mode (PSM) for improved efficiency at light loads.Additional features of the L6984ATR include overcurrent and thermal protection, adjustable soft-start, and a Power Good signal for fault detection. The device is housed in a compact 3x3 QFN package and is ideal for a variety of applications including industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics
