ISL1218IUZ General Description

The ISL1218IUZ is a low power real-time clock (RTC) with an alarm function and timer in a small 8-lead MSOP package. It operates over a wide voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V and has a low backup current of 400nA. The RTC provides time and date information in BCD format, with automatic leap year compensation. It has a programmable square wave output that can be used as an interrupt or clock output.The alarm function can be set to trigger at a specific time or date, and can generate an interrupt to wake up the system. The integrated timer can be programmed for timing applications, with programmable output pulse width.The ISL1218IUZ is suitable for a wide range of applications requiring accurate timekeeping and alarm functions in a compact package. Its low power consumption makes it ideal for battery-powered devices
