ICM-42605 General Description

The ICM-42605 is a 6-axis MEMS motion tracking device developed by TDK InvenSense. It is designed for industrial applications that require precise motion tracking and low power consumption. The device combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer in a single package, providing accurate motion sensing capabilities.The gyroscope has a full-scale range of ±2000 degrees per second and a sensitivity of 16,384 LSB (Least Significant Bit) per degree per second. It offers high precision and stability for tracking rotational movements. The accelerometer has a full-scale range of ±16 g and a sensitivity of 2048 LSB per g, allowing for accurate measurement of linear acceleration.The ICM-42605 features a programmable digital motion processor (DMP) that offloads complex motion processing tasks from the main microcontroller, reducing power consumption and improving system performance. It also includes built-in FIFO buffers for storing motion data, as well as configurable interrupts for event-based motion detection.
