HMC158C8 General Description

The HMC158C8 is a high performance, monolithic silicon tunable bandpass filter designed for use in communication systems, test and measurement equipment, and radar applications. It operates over a frequency range of 2.4 GHz to 5.5 GHz with a 1 dB insertion loss and 25 dB of stopband rejection.This filter offers a tunable center frequency with a 6-bit control interface, providing flexibility in selecting the desired frequency response. The filter has a 3 dB bandwidth of 300 MHz, allowing for precise filtering of signals within the specified frequency range.The HMC158C8 is housed in a compact 5x5 mm plastic surface mount package, making it suitable for integration into small form factor systems.
