HIN232CPZ General Description

The HIN232CPZ is a RS-232 interface IC (Integrated Circuit) that is designed to convert RS-232 voltage levels to TTL (Transistor-Transistor Logic) levels and vice versa. It is commonly used in serial communication applications where there is a need to interface between RS-232 and TTL devices.The HIN232CPZ can operate at a maximum data rate of 120kbps and is capable of driving standard RS-232 line loads of up to 3kΩ and up to 2500pF. It features an internal charge pump that generates the required voltage levels for RS-232 communication, eliminating the need for external components.The IC is available in a 16-pin plastic DIP package, making it suitable for use in a wide range of applications. It has a wide operating voltage range of +5V to +15V, making it compatible with a variety of power supplies.
