FM24V02A-G General Description

The FM24V02A-G is a 2Mbit serial non-volatile FRAM (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory) chip manufactured by Cypress Semiconductor. It has a 256K x 8-bit memory array with a high-speed SPI interface for communication with the host system. The chip operates on a wide voltage range from 2.7V to 3.6V and has a low standby current consumption of just 0.005μA, making it suitable for battery-powered devices.One of the key features of the FM24V02A-G is its high-speed read and write operations, with read and write access times of as low as 150ns. This makes it ideal for applications that require fast, reliable data storage, such as industrial automation, automotive systems, and smart meters.The FM24V02A-G also has a built-in 64-byte page write buffer, which allows for efficient data transfers and reduces the number of write cycles to the memory array.
