DP83848TSQ General Description

The DP83848TSQ is a single-port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Physical Layer Transceiver designed for use in industrial Ethernet applications. It operates over a wide temperature range, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments. This transceiver supports both MII and RMII interfaces, making it compatible with a variety of Ethernet controllers and processors. It features integrated Auto-MDIX, allowing for easy connection to either straight-through or crossover Ethernet cables. The DP83848TSQ also includes advanced features such as IEEE 802.3u-compliant support for half-duplex and full-duplex operation, as well as support for IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet standard. This allows for reduced power consumption during periods of low network activity. In addition, the DP83848TSQ includes built-in diagnostic capabilities, such as loopback modes and cable diagnostics, to help troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
