24AA128-I/MF General Description

The 24AA128-I/MF is a 128-Kbit (16,384 x 8) Serial Electrically Erasable PROM (EEPROM) from Microchip Technology. It operates on a supply voltage range of 1.7V to 5.5V and has a maximum clock frequency of 1 MHz. The device is organized into 256 pages of 64 bytes each.The 24AA128-I/MF features a byte-write and page-write capability with a write cycle time of 5 ms for byte write and 5 ms for page write. It also has a typical endurance of 1,000,000 read/write cycles and a data retention period of over 200 years.This EEPROM comes in an 8-lead SOIC package and is rated for industrial (-40°C to +85°C) and automotive (-40°C to +125°C) operating temperatures. It also has built-in write protection and a hardware write-protect pin for added security.
