UC3836D General Description

The UC1835/6 linear controller is the perfect solution for low cost, low dropout linear regulators. With dropout voltages of less than 0.5V, these controllers offer maximum efficiency and performance. The high gain error amplifier, 250mA output driver, and precision reference make these devices a top choice for a wide range of applications. The current sense with fold-back feature ensures reliable performance, with a peak output current of 2.5A dropping to less than 0.5A at short circuit. Available in fixed 5V or adjustable versions, the UC1835/6 controllers offer flexibility and ease of use
