TL7705ACDR General Description

The TL7705ACDR is a voltage supervisor and watchdog timer chip that is designed to monitor the power supply voltage and provide a reset signal to the microcontroller or other system when the voltage falls below a predefined threshold. It has a supply voltage range of 2.5V to 18V and a reset threshold of 4.65V. The chip features a low quiescent current of 12µA, making it suitable for low-power applications. The TL7705ACDR also includes a watchdog timer with an adjustable timeout period that can be set using an external resistor. This watchdog timer helps ensure system reliability by monitoring the microcontroller's operation and resetting it if it fails to toggle an input within the specified time frame. Other key features of the TL7705ACDR include a manual reset input, a power-on reset delay of 200ms, and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
