TL5812N General Description

The TL5812N is a voltage supervisor IC (Integrated Circuit) manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is designed to monitor the voltage level of a power supply and provide a reset signal to the microcontroller or system when the voltage falls below a predetermined threshold.This device has a supply voltage range of 2.5V to 16V and consumes very low quiescent current of 35 µA, making it suitable for use in battery-powered systems. The TL5812N features a built-in voltage reference and precision comparator with hysteresis to ensure accurate monitoring of the power supply voltage.In addition, this IC offers an adjustable reset threshold voltage through an external resistor network, allowing flexibility in setting the reset voltage level according to the application requirements. It also includes a watchdog timer function to monitor the system operation and generate a reset signal if the microcontroller fails to respond within a specified time period.The TL5812N is available in a small SOT-23 package, making it easy to integrate into compact electronic designs.
