SMBJ15CA General Description

The SMBJ15CA is a transient voltage suppressor diode (TVS diode) in the SMB (Surface Mount Box) package with a 15V reverse standoff voltage. TVS diodes are designed to protect electronic circuits from transient or overvoltage events by clamping excessive voltage levels and diverting potentially damaging currents away from sensitive components.
