LP2998MRE/NOPB General Description

The LP2998MRE/NOPB linear regulator is a versatile device that meets JEDEC SSTL-2 and JEDEC SSTL-18 specifications for DDR-SDRAM and DDR2 memory termination. Its support for DDR3 and DDR3L VTT bus termination with a minimum VDDQ of 1.35 V makes it a reliable choice for a variety of memory types. The high-speed operational amplifier ensures excellent response to load transients, while the output stage safeguards against shoot-through, delivering up to 1.5 A continuous current and handling transient peaks of up to 3 A as needed for DDR-SDRAM termination. Additionally, the LP2998 features a VSENSE pin for superior load regulation and a VREF output for chipset and DIMM reference
