FXL6408UMX General Description

The FXL6408UMX is a highly integrated, low-power, high-performance 8-channel LED driver IC from ON Semiconductor. It is designed specifically for automotive exterior and interior lighting applications. This LED driver features a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 38V, making it ideal for use in various vehicle systems. Each of the 8 channels can deliver up to 150mA of output current, allowing for driving a variety of different LED configurations. The device also includes a 16-bit shift register to provide PWM dimming control for each channel.The FXL6408UMX offers protection features such as open and shorted LED detection, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown to ensure safe and reliable operation in harsh automotive environments. It is available in a compact 24-pin QFN package, making it easy to integrate into existing lighting designs.
