TL3845P General Description

The TL3845P is a high-performance current-mode PWM controller designed for controlling step-down switch-mode power supplies. It operates over a wide input voltage range of 7V to 40V and can handle a continuous output current of up to 4A. This controller features a precision reference voltage of 5V, adjustable soft-start for controlled startup, and cycle-by-cycle current limiting for overcurrent protection. It also includes a frequency compensation pin for loop stability tuning and an error amplifier with a 2V internal reference for voltage regulation.The TL3845P is housed in an 8-pin PDIP package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It is suitable for various power supply applications, including telecom, industrial, and consumer electronics.
