    It turns out that I ordered the wrong one... check carefully for the position and number of screws. My 6J1 Pre ampliflier PCB has 4 holes and this shell only has 3. I'll to order another one, this time the 4 holes version. The quality is good nevertheless, I might be able to recycle it for some other project.
