MAX8211CPA General Description

The MAX8211CPA+ is a precision, low-power, 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with an output amplifier and in an 8-pin narrow DIP package. It operates on a single +5V supply and provides a full-scale output current of 2.5mA. The DAC offers excellent linearity with a typical integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±1LSB and a differential nonlinearity (DNL) of ±0.5LSB.The device features a serial interface that allows for easy interfacing with microcontrollers or other digital systems. It also includes a power-on reset feature that ensures the DAC output is at zero scale upon power-up, preventing any unintended output voltages.The MAX8211CPA+ is suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial process control, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and programmable voltage sources. Its low power consumption and small footprint make it ideal for battery-powered or portable devices.
