M74HC595YRM13TR General Description

The M74HC595YRM13TR is a high-speed CMOS shift register with output latches, designed using cutting-edge silicon gate C2MOS technology. This device features an 8-bit serial in, parallel out shift register that connects to an 8-bit D-type storage register. The storage register boasts 8 3-state outputs, with separate clocks allocated for both the shift and storage registers. The shift register includes direct overriding clear, serial input, and output pins for easy cascading. Clock triggers for both registers operate on positive edges, ensuring precise synchronization. When both clocks are synchronized, the shift register leads the storage register by one clock cycle. Additionally, the inputs are equipped with protection circuits against static discharge and voltage spikes, enhancing the long-term durability of the device
