FM25640B-G General Description

The FM25640B-G is a 64Kbit (8K x 8bit) serial EEPROM with a wide voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. It operates on a low power supply, consuming only 5mA in read operation and 5uA in standby mode. The device has a high-speed SPI interface with a maximum clock frequency of 10MHz.This EEPROM supports sequential read and write operations, allowing for efficient data transfer. It has a write protection feature to prevent accidental writes and also supports software write protection of entire memory array. The FM25640B-G has a guaranteed minimum endurance of 1 million write cycles and a data retention period of 100 years.The device comes in a compact 8-lead SOIC package, making it suitable for applications with limited board space. It is RoHS compliant and operates over a wide temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius.
