General Description

The 1EDI2004AS, based on Infineon's Coreless Transformer technology, offers galvanic isolation between low voltage and high voltage domains. With its support for 400 V, 600 V, and 1200 V IGBT technologies, this device is versatile and adaptable to various applications. It features a standard SPI interface that allows for easy configuration and control of advanced functions on the low voltage side. The 1EDI2004AS is designed for minimal distortion of the PWM signal with short propagation delays and controlled internal tolerances on the high voltage side. Additionally, it includes a wide range of safety-related functions to meet functional safety requirements at the system level, as per ISO 26262. These integrated features also facilitate the implementation of Active Short Circuit strategies. For optimal performance, the 1EDI2004AS can be paired with Infineon's 1EBN100XAE "EiceDRIVE Boost" booster stage family
