The NCT1008 is a versatile, dual-channel digital temperature sensor designed for use in applications with high thermal density. One of its key features is the ability to automatically cancel up to 1.5 kΩ of resistance in series with the temperature monitoring diode, allowing for effective noise filtering. The sensor also offers a configurable ALERT output and a switchable temperature measurement range, providing flexibility for various monitoring needs. With a high level of accuracy, the NCT1008 can measure the temperature of a remote thermal diode to within ±1°C and ambient temperature to within ±3°C. Additionally, it communicates over a 2-wire serial interface, complying with SMBus/I2C standards. The default SMBus/I2C address of the NCT1008 is 0x4C, but an alternative version, the NCT1008D, is available with a different address, 0x4D, catering to scenarios where multiple NCT1008 sensors are used within the same system
