Description

The DS560MB410 is a versatile and high-performance linear equalizer designed for a wide range of high-speed serial link applications. With support for multi-rate, multi-protocol interfaces up to 28 GBd using PAM4 or up to 32 GBd using NRZ modulation, this low-power device extends the reach and robustness of backplane, midplane, and active copper cable (ACC) connections. Each of its four channels operates independently with user-selectable CTLE boost profiles, providing flexibility to optimize for either PCB or copper cable loss profiles. The linear nature of the equalization preserves input signal characteristics, allowing link partner ASICs to negotiate Tx equalizer coefficients freely during link training. Additionally, the DS560MB410 includes a 2×2 crosspoint between each pair of adjacent channels, enabling multiplexing, de-multiplexing, redundancy, fanout, and signal crossover for greater flexibility in signal routing
