General Description

The AM27C256-70DC is a high-performance EPROM designed for non-volatile storage of data and program code. EPROMs are memory devices that can be programmed (written to) once and retain their data even when power is turned off. However, to erase the data and reprogram the memory, they require exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light in an EPROM eraser.
