General Description

The 1N4759AP/TR8 is part of the popular 1N4728AP thru 1N4764AP series of 1.0-watt Zener diodes, offering voltage regulation across a range of 3.3 to 100 volts with 5% tolerances. Tighter tolerances are also available, indicated by different suffix letters in the part number. These plastic encapsulated Zener diodes are classified as moisture Level 1, eliminating the need for a dry pack. Additionally, they can be obtained in various military screening levels by adding a prefix identifier. The P suffix on these plastic molded Zener diodes signifies lower thermal resistance compared to the glass-body option (G suffix) for the same JEDEC part numbers. Microchip provides both package options in RoHS Compliant devices with an "e3" suffix. For applications requiring higher or lower power and test currents, Microchip also offers a wide range of other Zener products to meet varying needs
